Primary Research Interest:	Psychology
Description of Research:	I examine the psychological and neurobiological mechanisms involved in the development and treatment of PTSD in order to learn how the disorder develops as well as how treatment works so that we can increase efficacy and access to treatment.
Relevance to VA:	My research covers the development and treatment of PTSD as well as implementation of effective practice. Given high rates of PTSD and related mental health issues in veterans, my research is highly relevant to the care of our VA population.
