| Description of Research: |
I perform disc degeneration research. The main objectives are to understand what cases disc degeneration and what kind of biological intervention can delay or reverse disc degeneration. |
| Relevance to VA: |
Disc degeneration and spinal disorders are scourges to the general population and to veterans. These problems cause pain in the back and nerve compression that causes pain in the limbs and even paralysis. My research may decrease the need for such surgery. |
