Description of Research:	Preclinical testing of neuroprotectants designed to treat glaucoma. Assessing effects of exercise on vision and biomarkers in human subjects and animal models.
Relevance to VA:	We are developing approaches to maintain healthy vision in aging Veterans via physical exercise and potential new pharmaceuticals.
