| Description of Research: |
My research spans the design and usability of products, technologies and environments that will facilitate activity and participation of aging veterans and those with functional loss across the continuum of residential care facilities from home to skilled nursing. |
| Relevance to VA: |
Environmental interventions that enable veterans to remain integrated within the community or facilitate their care is becoming an increasingly important component of VA healthcare as the number of veterans suffering from functional loss due to aging and combat grows. |
